Matrix Home Solutions Lions Tickets Giveaway Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the State of Michigan who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Matrix Home Solutions (“Sponsor”), DLI Properties, LLC (“Prize Provider”), and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and its affiliate companies,  and administrative, advertising and promotion agencies, gaming license partners, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Giveaway, and any members of these persons immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children and each of their respective spouses, children and siblings), and persons living in the same households of each of the above (whether legally related or not) are ineligible to participate in this Giveaway. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Giveaway is void outside the United States and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

Entry Period

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 AM EST on 10/11/2024 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on 10/25/2024. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on the last day of the Entry Period to be eligible.

How to Enter

Participants may enter the Giveaway through the Matrix Home Solutions website (and in person) or social media platforms. The entry form requires the participant's full name, phone number, email address, and consent to receive marketing communications from Matrix Home Solutions in compliance with Michigan consumer protection laws. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification. Automated or bulk entries, including those submitted using macros or other automated means, are prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Prize

The prize consists of two tickets to the Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks game at Ford Field on September 30, 2024. The total retail value of the prize is $822. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. No substitution of prize is allowed except by Matrix Home Solutions in its sole discretion due to prize unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances. Any additional expenses related to the prize, including but not limited to transportation, parking, food, and lodging, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection and Notification

A random drawing will be conducted within 1 days after the Entry Period concludes. The drawing will be performed using a random number generator associated with a list of eligible entrants. The winner will be notified via phone and email by a representative from Matrix Home Solutions within 1 day of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, a new winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entrants.

Prize Claim

The winner must provide proof of identity and Michigan residency (such as a driver’s license or state ID) to claim the prize. If the winner does not claim the prize within 1 day of notification or is unable to attend the game on September 30, 2024, Matrix Home Solutions reserves the right to select an alternate winner using the same random selection process.

Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name, photo, and likeness in any promotional materials related to the Giveaway without further compensation, in accordance with Michigan privacy laws. The winner may be announced publicly on Matrix Home Solutions’ social media platforms and website.

General Conditions

Matrix Home Solutions reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions. If technical issues or fraud are suspected, Matrix Home Solutions will take appropriate measures to ensure fairness, including disqualifying suspected fraudulent entries. Matrix Home Solutions reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway in the event of any technical malfunction, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond its control, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway.

Disputes

Michigan law governs all aspects of this Giveaway. By participating, entrants agree to the laws of Michigan and agree that any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or relating to this Giveaway will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed the entrant. Any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, including but not limited to punitive, consequential, or indirect damages.

Privacy

Participants’ personal information will be collected, stored, and used only for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and for marketing purposes directly related to Matrix Home Solutions. All personal information will be stored in a secure database and used in compliance with Michigan privacy and consumer protection laws.

By entering, you understand and voluntarily consent to receive promotional and marketing communications from the Sponsor and Prize Provider, in each case subject to their respective privacy policies. Prize Provider’s privacy policy can be found at www.detroitlions.com/privacy. You may request to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information or to limit the use of your sensitive personal information collected and held by Prize Provider at Your Privacy Choices and Prize Provider at www.detroitlions.com/privacy. Changing your privacy choices and/or choosing not to share all or certain information will not affect your odds of winning a prize.

Taxes

The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. If required, Matrix Home Solutions will issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner, and the winner must provide all necessary information for tax purposes.

Liability Release

By entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Matrix Home Solutions (“Sponsor”), DLI Properties, LLC (“Prize Provider”), the National Football League, Ford Field, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from or related to participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Matrix Home Solutions (“Sponsor”), DLI Properties, LLC (“Prize Provider”), the National Football League, and Ford Field from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during travel to, attendance at, or participation in the game.

Matrix Home Solutions (“Sponsor”), DLI Properties, LLC (“Prize Provider”) shall not be liable to any winner or any other person for failure to supply the Prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), ordinance(s), or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s), ordinance(s), or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, epidemic, pandemic, public health emergency, severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s sole control (Force Majeure Event). A Force Majeure Event expressly includes (1) an outbreak or resurgence of COVID-19 (as defined by the World Health Organization, which, together with any related strains, variants and mutations thereof and other similar infectious diseases, are collectively referred to herein as COVID-19) or, (2) action, order, regulation or guidance taken or issued by a government authority in response to an actual or threatened outbreak or resurgence of COVID-19.
